Office Hours
Disability Support Services office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Due to the nature of testing accommodations, services to students and faculty may begin earlier or continue after hours and may require the office to close during the day to monitor distraction-reduced testing or to attend meetings. For this reason, emailing the Coordinator is often the best way to schedule a meeting or phone conference.
The DSS Office is closed in the evening, so accommodated testing for night classes must be negotiated between the faculty, DSS and student. Faculty may provide the accommodations or the student, with faculty approval, will arrange an alternate time with DSS using the test accommodations notification protocol. The DSS Office is open and provides accommodated testing during Final Exams, following the College course exam schedule into the evening and on Saturday.
The office is closed during the summer from June 15 to July 15 during which time the Office of Student Life will provide summer session accommodations and schedule interpreters for meetings, as needed.
