Highlanders Kicked by NCAA D-2 Mules

The MacMurray College men's basketball team had its four-game winning streak snapped Sunday afternoon in a 88-58 loss at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Mo.  Kyle Wolf led the Mules with a game-high nineteen points (8-10 shooting) and seven rebounds; and Jon Gilliam connected on five of six three-point field goals for fifteen points.

Spencer Pratt led the Highlanders with fifteen points and Dylan Burton was also in double figures for MacMurray with eleven points.  Clayton Whitlock and Brady Slagle chipped in with eight points apiece. 

The Highlanders were only 3-6 from the free-throw stripe, while the host Mules were 20-27 from the line.

Central Missouri improves to 8-1 overall; while MacMurray falls to 5-2.

Coach Todd Creal's club will face Augustana College next Saturday night in Rock Island, Ill., in their next game.
