MacMurray football honors graduates, top students

June 11, 2014

The MacMurray College football program is proud to announce the members of its spring 2014 Operation 3.0 effort and the football team members who graduated this spring.

Operation 3.0 is a team initiative for each team member to attain a 3.0 grade point average for each semester. For the spring of 2014 semester, 20 student-athletes, or 37 percent  of the team earned a 3.0 GPA or better. This is the highest percentage for a spring semester in Head Coach Chris Douglas’ tenure at MacMurray College.

Academic excellence is a primary goal at the MacMurray College football program. MacMurray football also saw its highest percentage of team members earning a spot on MacMurray College’s Dean’s List, which requires a 3.5 semester GPA – 12 student athletes or 22 percent of the team. MacMurray football also saw three team members earn a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester.
