SLIAC Announces 2014 Spring All-Academic Team

The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced their 2014 Spring All-Academic team. Seven MacMurray College athletes were named to the academic team. 


  • Derek Crouch, of Chatham, IL; a senior in biology with a minor in psychology. Crouch, a baseball player, is the son of Ken Daugherty and Cindy Crouch of Chatham.

  • Veronica Grgin, of Palatine, IL; a senior in deaf and hard of hearing education. Grgin, a softball player, is the daughter of Tommy and Doris Grgin of Palatine.

  • Tarryn Link, of Taylorville, IL; a junior double-majoring in accounting and in business administration with a minor in finance. Link, a golfer, is the son of Tom and Tina Link of Taylorville.

  • Aaron Luce, of Vincennes, IN; a sophomore in criminal justice with minors in business administration and accounting. Luce, a baseball player, is the son of George and Cathy Luce of Vincennes.

  • Jeremy White, of Loveland, CO; a sophomore double-majoring in business administration and sport management. White, a baseball player, is the son of Brent and Paula White of Loveland.

  • Anthony Thomas Willeford, of White Hall, IL; graduated this spring magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. Willeford, a baseball player, is the son of Tony Willeford of Warrensburg, MO, and Tonya Davis of White Hall.

  • Shelby M. Woodward, of Keysport, IL, graduated this spring cum laude with a double-major in art and psychology. Woodward, a softball player, is the daughter of Bill Woodward of Greenville, IL, and Christina Warnen of Breese, IL.
