Westminster College Defeats MacMurray College Women 75-60

The MacMurray College women's basketball suffered their eighth-straight loss Saturday afternoon in a 75-60 decision at home against Westminster College.  The visiting Blue Jays connected on thirteen three-point field goals and were perfect (14-14) from the free-throw line.

Junior center Megan Duisen led the Highlanders with seventeen points and freshman forward Jordan Wall added a career-high ten points in the loss.

Andrea Zalis had a game-high 21 points and Leigh Ann Lutz added eighteen points for the Blue Jays, who evened their record at 11-11 overall and 8-8 in SLIAC conference play.

Coach Derek James' club falls to 3-19 overall and 2-13 in league play. 

The Highlanders are back in action at home on Monday night, when they host Spalding University in a 6PM tip.
