MacMurray football awards academic achievements

The MacMurray College football team honored 15 players for maintaining at 3.0 and above GPA during the 2012 football season.

Wesley Chad Allen of Robbins, TN. The sophomore linebacker is the son of Robert Allen, of Huntsville, TN. He is a secondary education major.
Cody Anderson of Belleville, IL. He is a freshman running back. The son of Lance and Robin Haynes of Belleville, Anderson is a criminal justice major.
Cody Buss is a freshman linebacker from Belleville, IL. He is the son of James and Karen Dannehold, of Belleville, IL. Buss is majoring in physical education.
Dakota Cane of Sparta, IL, is a junior criminal justice major. The defensive line is the son of Barbara Cane of Sparta, and the grandson of Frank and Erline Cane.
Junior offensive lineman Jacob Goodwin, of Fort Worth, TX, is the son of Rick and Gail Goodwin, of Fort Worth.
Connor Grumich of Florissant, MO, is the son of Dan and Mary Pat Grumich, of Florissant. The freshman defensive lineman is an undecided freshman.
Taylor Hosta of Lake Geneva, WI is the son of John and Inge Hosta of Lake Geneva. The junior linebacker is a double major in physical education and health.
William Kelley is a freshman offensive lineman from Chapin, IL. The biology major is the son of Randall and Michelle Kelley.
Joesph Legendre of Fairmont City, IL, is the son of Joe Legendre and Patricia Platz, of Fairmont City. The freshman offensive lineman is a physical education major.
Charles Miller of Maryville, IL is an undecided freshman running back for the Highlanders.
Zach Peppers of Seymour, TN, is a junior offensive lineman. The sports management major is the son of Jay and Sherry Peppers of Seymour.
Clifton Peterson is a sophomore linebacker from Miama, FL. The son of Clinton and Debra Peterson of Miami, he is a sports management major.
Daniel Routh of Edelstein, IL, is the son of Ron and Anita Routh of Edelstein. The senior wide receiver is majoring in biology.
James Simelton of Memphis, TN is a junior offensive lineman. He is the son of Glora Jones of Memphis. Simelton is a criminal justice major.
Raymond Smith is a junior defensive back from Champaign, IL. Smith is an English major at MacMurray, and is the son of Jerry Robinson of Champaign, IL, and Robin Smith of Columbus, OH.
