Two Football Players Selected For Bowl Game

Jacksonville, IL- Senior football players Leo Coronado and Deshonta Smallwood will represent MacMurray College in the 3rd Annual National Bowl Game at J Birney Crum Stadium in Allenton, Pennsylvania this Sunday, December 9th at 1:00pm.
Leo Coronado, of Coppell, TX, was named to the UMAC All-Conference Defensive Lineman Second Team this past season. He led his team in tackles with 56.5 on the season. Deshonta Smallwood, of Fresno, CA, was named to the UMAC All-Conference Wide Receivers First Team. He tallied 788 receiving yards, 42 receptions, and scored 13 touchdowns for the Highlander offense this season.
The 3rd Annual National Bowl Game is a college all-star contest where 80 college seniors are selected from around the country to participate. The National Bowl Game will be donating a portion of its proceeds to the Tommy foundation to help in its fight against Autism.
