Adult Degree Completion Program
MacMurray College offers a program to allow adult learners the opportunity to:
- Earn a degree in Organizational Leadership in a program designed for the adult learner
- Gain advancement in employment
- Provide positioning for new employment
Work while attending classes online with only 2 Saturdays a month of face-to-face attendance at MacMurray College. Classes are scheduled with the working adult in mind. Two courses are offered every eight weeks and students who qualify may start at the beginning of any term.
The MacMurray Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership offers courses that make students valuable in the workforce by presenting classes that emphasize:
- Professional communication skills
- Ethics in the workforce
- Leadership skills
- Psychology for the professional
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Fiscal responsibilities
- Technology’s use in the organization
- Diversity in the workplace
Admission Requirements
- Students must have completed 60 college credit hours from regionally accredited institutions of high learning (some credit for business and military learning can be given).
- Students must have a grade point average of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) – some consideration can be given on an individual basis for those who have a lower grade point average.
- Students must be at least 25 years of age and have at least 2 years work experience.
Part-Time and Non-Degree Students
Individual class enrollment will be considered if space is available.
Tuition and Fees
- Cost is $370 per credit hour plus a $20 comprehensive fee per student per term.
- Textbooks are an additional cost and are available from the MacMurray Bookstore (can be purchased online and shipped directly to the student).
- Financial Assistance may be available.
